Rob Nguyen - Mighty Mouse CRX

The iconic CRX started life as Rob's first road car but very quickly became a huge part of World Time Attack Challenge history having competed in every event since day one cumulating in a Pro Am Class win in 2017 seeing off RWD and AWD competition from around the globe. This little Honda hatchback was the original FWD giant killer that turned the 'wrong wheel drive' convention on its head paving the way for many of the mind bogglingly fast FWD cars that have risen to the top echelons of Time Attack around the world.

Closer to home the CRX was also the first car to prove our now massively successful Quaife Engineering QKE8J 5-Speed Sequential Gearbox was more than capable of delivering in even the most demanding conditions of high level motorsport. Furthermore, other than changing final drive ratios to compliment his ever increasing power figures, Rob has never needed to replace a single gearbox component.
